Anyway, as I said, I have been ill, and not just mentally. I haven't had a cold like this in ages and ages, and I've never had one where I couldn't load up on all kinds of drugs. O, Nyquil! So this week has been a drag health-wise. I have been enjoying the low light levels, however--love the fall and winter for that:
And I love the grape jam my mom makes from the vine they tried to kill and finally embraced. Yum. It's a surprise to know that grape flavoring actually has a quite natural taste.
My mom and I had a girls' day yesterday and drove up to the new house for a brief decorators' conference. We measured. She sketched. We held up paint colors in the beautiful light (no we're not using F&B--do you know how much this stuff costs?! A whole post on this coming).
So last night my mind was full of house thoughts, decorating thoughts, money thoughts (YUCK).
Thoughts about this:
As for the other thoughts, the crowd of worries...well, I've done crazier things. And life always works out. And if I get really worked up, all need is a dose of this.
