Hello all. I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has hopped over here from Rhythm of the Home in the past two days. It's really been incredible to watch the numbers jump and to get the comments and emails. You've really heartened me, and I'm so glad you're here.
If you didn't come from there, and you're wondering what on earth I'm talking about, I have an article/tutorial in the December issue of Rhythm of the Home. And in case you're wondering, I'm pretty much beside myself with excitement about it. It is a fantastic publication--or at least I think so. It covers all of my most precious interests at the moment, with contributions from some of my favorite bloggers, artists, and artisans. I am so honored to be a part of it. I also have a gnome in the giveaway for this issue, which ends soon. There are so many beautiful things--you should enter for something!!
Well, that's all for now. It's the eleventh hour and I've been sewing like a madwoman, at all hours.
It is worth mentioning, I think, that yesterday afternoon as I was sewing along, plenty stressed about it all, I suddenly realized how happy I was to do what I was doing.
Ahhhhh, I thought, if I could always do this, I would. Such a nice feeling. It'll be even nicer this weekend to post a photo of all that I've created lined up on my table at the Enchanted Winter Faire. (This weekend I'll also be adding a couple of custom doll slots in my Etsy shop, which might be available for Christmas delivery.) If you're in the area, come! It looks like it'll be a fantastic day. If you're not, come see me here this weekend.
And a very happy December to you all!
